I was moved by the news about Chester Bennington committing suicide, and around the same time, we were given an open brief to choose our own topic to design a tabloid. There would have been nothing more gratifying than designing for Chester as a tribute.

 

He committed suicide on Chris Cornell's birthday, which compelled me to include Chris too. This led me to think that most of the great voices we have ever had ended their lives in a miserable way.

 

My idea for the tabloid revolves around how these great musicians had an early and unexpected death. Named the tabloid 'Limelight' and made it a limited edition, because what they have done for us, with their music, can't be calculated or measured and will never be enough.
